Fairies and Second Sight

Fairies have been an integral part of many cultures for generations, especially in Celtic

countries. The folklore of fairies has been used to entertain, inspire and connect generations to traditions within their families and surrounding communities. Fairies also connect people to the natural landscape allowing for an artistic, creative and imaginative approach to life. Despite, there being more sceptics in the world on whether or not fairies truly exist, people continue to hold true to their traditions and rituals set forth by the generations that came before them.

This talk will explore those traditions, the rituals used to placate the fae, touch on the lore that has connected generations in many cultures, and give a little bit of information on how people celebrate the world of the fae in modern society.
